Kellen also has many family members spanning through several generations that have been in the entertainment industry (singers, dancers, actors & directors). So, not too far below the surface there turned out to be much more in common than either realized. Through a chance meeting and a demand for dance instructors, the two teamed up and started teaching. Kellen & Kathy had a great connection on the dance floor and quickly became best friends. Six months later that friendship developed into much more and the dance partners became husband and wife. Their passion for dance became a lifelong commitment and have since studied with some of the top dancers and instructors in the world (Ballroom workshops).

Kellen & Kathy have taught to several thousand people and done more than 400 special events including choreography for a Hollywood movie. Their passion ultimately developed into a mission of bringing the joy & benefits of social dance to others.

A question that comes up al lot is: What do we do as our "DAY JOB"??

Kathy - Formerly a retail fashion manager for more than 30 years, Kathy managed Christopher & Banks in ValleyView Mall.

Kellen - is the owner/operator of a website design & business marketing company called Inet Success Systems: www.InetSuccessSystems.com


Mission Statement:

"We guarantee...if you follow the simple guidelines outlined in our program, your dance experience will not only be a very pleasant one, it will enhance your life for many years to come. We have watched and taught to thousands of people over the course of the last 30 plus years and we've seen so many people realize the many benefits of dance including: improved physical, mental and emotional health, recharged relationships or sparked brand new ones. As for ourselves, our life and relationship gets better and stronger every year so we are definitely big believers in the benefits of dance. We have made it our goal to pass this on to as many people as possible."

There must be something to that "opposites attract"
thing with two backgrounds that appeared to be so
different, yet somehow worked so well together.
Kellen was a very serious athlete from a very young
age and through college. Kathy was a student at the
top of her class in high school (Valdectorian).
As it turned out, both were from families of 4 boys and 1 girl, Kathy was up a big sports fan having 4 brothers while Kellen ended up a serious competitor in several sports. Kathy always had an affection for the Latin cultures and ended up a Spanish major in college but also happened to have a mother that was an Arthur Murray dance instructor. Kellen came from a family that also had a strong connection to the latin culture with his fathers' family originally coming from Spain & Puerto Rico.
